The 3D blended really well with the 2D, nearly seamless!

So cool, the scenes with huge crowds were so impressive, meanwhile the lighting and effects during the fight scene blew me away!

For the first game I've played on NG this is really great, I'm not a gamedev but I have a few small critiques. WASD support would be really nice, as well as the ability to close the menu by pressing Enter. Also, I got stuck on the level select screen after Level 1-2, but I'm not sure if that's too big of a problem. Collecting all 80 acorns on the first level was really satisfying, so good work on the sounds.
